Healthy Snacks For Kids

Snacks are a big part of a child’s diet; therefore, it is essential that most of the snacks you prepare for your child, are the ones you feel good and delightful about. It is definitely not easy to please a kid, especially when it comes to food. On coming back from school in a tired and groggy situation, all what the kids want is to have something delicious and pleasing. Before heading for their evening game, the kids require to fuel themselves again.

Snacking between meals is essential but more important is to eat the correct food and not fill up on empty calories. Moreover, there is always a constant struggle between healthy and delicious. You see, you cannot fool your kids in anyway. Haldiram’s Prabhuji brings forth 2 easy snack recipes which must be prepared for kids.

Kids have small tummies and a huge appetite, therefore, they are generally unable to meet their daily nutritional needs with major meals. Hence, snacking acts as a life saver for these tiny bundles of energy. While selecting snack options for kids keep in mind that snacks provide essential nutrients other than calories and proteins like iron or calcium. Moreover, kids find it difficult to complete a full meal at one shot, therefore the missing portion can make a snack. For instance, if your kid is unable to finish curd then you can utilise the left-over curd to make raita and serve him in the evening. Remember to add nutritious vegetables like cucumber, tomato and garnish with Haldiram’s Aloo Bhujia for the ultimate touch up.
